NRP Hires To Meet Overwhelming Demand with Retirement Focused Advisors and Wealth Management Recruits
 
National Retirement Partners announced today that it has expanded its advisor recruiting operation in order to meet increasing demand for its services.  Geoff White, National Sales Manager and head of advisor recruiting for NRP stated, “Demand for NRP services has been increasing steadily for quite some time, but has spiked over the past few months. We see this happening for a number of reasons. First, NRP is very much a proven quantity. With 130 offices and many of the best retirement focused advisors in the nation, NRP is only getting stronger. Clearly the many highly publicized challenges at the nation’s largest broker dealers have been good for our recruiting efforts. In addition, we continue to have incredibly strong demand with smaller retirement focused practices, which we define as those with less than $ 500,000 in annual revenue. Many of these firms are not comfortable with the ineffectiveness of the loose arrangements between tools and services companies and small under capitalized broker dealers. We will be working with many of these firms in certain geographic areas where it makes sense”
Reflecting this strategic shift that will allow certain smaller retirement focused advisor practices to join the firm, NRP has added two professionals to focus in this market. Both will report to Mr. White. These smaller practices are those that are located in specific geographic areas deemed important to NRP’s overall strategy and who share the same best practice philosophy and growth trends of other NRP advisory firms.
NRP is also accelerating dramatically its retail recruiting efforts. John McKeehan will now manage retail recruiting for NRP. With the assistance of an internal staff as well as three external recruiters recently engaged by the firm. NRP anticipates assisting approximately 50% of its current 130 offices with the development of comprehensive wealth management capabilities over the next year.  Much of this effort will be focused on placing the best advisors in practices that are experiencing overwhelming rollover opportunities due to their strong corporate Retirement Plan relationships and NRP’s well developed rollover operation.
NRP anticipates reaching its 200 office goal ahead of schedule due to this increased demand. In addition, NRP anticipates significant growth on top of its current $50 Billion retirement plan assets in the form of retail assets.
